ultimate hunt day! $525 per person, +tax up to 11-11, then $575. Two species,
one day fee.
Management reserves the right to cancel 2nd hunt- to insure every group has 1st class service.
To be guaranteed a duck & a goose
hunt, book them separately.
However, some times the opportunity may be offered - even late season!
Scheduling is limited. May request the option- no guarantees.
Typical day starts with
goose hunt, followed by duck. Decision must be made around 10 AM to move from goose pits to the
duck ponds. If the duck hunt is not available that day,
you will not be charged, or a credit will be applied to your
account. Usually finished by noon
or 1:00PM!
Early Season Bonus: on occasion, a few ducks around the goose pits without extra
fee, and you might see a goose around the duck pond(s).
However, you need to have guide approval to shoot, so it will not interfere with the ponds & goose hunt. |

Substitute hunters
are allowed.
Any balance owed
must be paid before the hunt, and the substitute hunters will settle
with the original person who made the deposit.
Burbank reserves
the right to fill all seats in the blinds, unless a hunter purchases all seats in blind.
Extra services may be available, and will be subject to additional fee. Just ask. |

hunter(s) = sold seats and all monies are due. Cancellation

Services are due and payable per terms.
Confirmation/information packet given after 50% deposit: includes hotel info, map, meeting place, general info, shell sizes for the hunt and 'Rules of the Hunt Summary' to be abided by all. .
Dogs: We reserve the right to ask you to return your dog to vehicle/kennel. See services. |

With 30+ days notice the
deposit will be refunded less fees as described below. For less than 30 days, all deposits
are forfeited, and all balances are due in full, since the seat(s) is
‘sold’. Time is of the essence.
“No Shows”, for any reason (no matter
how good it is), are subject to full charge since
the seat is ‘sold’.
We do not over-book like the airlines; it is next to impossible to fill seats at short notice.
Time is of the essence because our
demand exceeds availability. BGS understands that personal emergencies
occur; however the seat is ‘sold’
just like at a sporting game. No refund for transportation problems,
acts of nature or illness. For an 'immediate family death', we will try to reschedule, subject
to availability in current season. |

Liability Release: With hunting there are major risks, including injury or loss of life. Safety is foremost, but each hunter is solely responsible for his/her safety.

When time allows we can issue a 5 day
courtesy hold. A credit card number will be requested to guarantee
the space until the check arrives. If the check does not arrive,
then the seats/space will be available for resale. A $50 NSF service
fee for NSF checks, plus expenses to collect monies. |

Services: BGS (Burbank Guide Service) provides
outdoor experiences with Professional Guides, guiding and instructing/supervising the activities for safety reasons.Use of the following: properties, equipment
provided (decoys, blinds, etc) and guides. Making a reservation
does not constitute any form of a buy-sell agreement for the birds,
whether it is expressed or implied. Afternoon hunting at guides
option. Hunters may be limited to size of flocks to shoot at, for
bird management reasons. Hunting is a sport
with no guarantees. Cancellation policy must be abided by.
No alcohol before or during the hunt. Read the confirmation details.
For BGS services to be used, a release
of Liability Agreement and acknowledgement of Risk Contract, must be signed prior to the hunt. Please review before making
reservations. Every person is solely responsible for their safety.
The BGS reserves the right to refuse
or terminate services, for any reason at any time before/during/after for cause as determined by the guide, for safety issues or not abiding with State/ Fed/Burbank rules.
No refunds.
Please read, familiarize every hunter
in the group with the 'Rules of the Hunt'
for a Safe Hunt, contract, etc
Not Included: Meals, shells, guns, lodging, transportation,
gratuities (as in any good restaurant), supplies & personal hunting equipment, all licenses/stamps unless otherwise stated in
package or in writing. |
| Private Property Management: Excellent management means quality hunting all season, but it is expensive! Therefore it is critical that our scheduled bookings are fulfilled .Burbank's professional
services requires year around expenses and labor with only a short income/ hunt season. Expenses for our managed private land, the crops planted for the birds, etc are enormous vs hunting on public land. Good business procedures
are followed; each hunt/seat has incurred expenses allocated to it.

Hunters
Requirement: recap only. See Burbank liability waiver contract.
Safety is imperative; must be experienced with hunt gun, how to handle it safely & shooting techniques.
Hunter(s) responsibility to have knowledge
and comply with all regulations of BGS, State, Federal Government,
Migratory Bird laws and any other regulating body and provide items
not included in the hunt. While participating I and my guests will
use safe methods, such as in the Washington State’s safety training
courses. Also we will agree to accept guides guidance and the BGS
Rules of the Hunt (which are guidelines, since they could be misinterpreted
by hunter(s) and guests). Hunter acknowledges obligation to have appropriate
insurance coverage for any and all activities for personal and property
damages, which will cover all exposures, risks, injuries or damages
& will release BG of all liability with signed agreement. Further,
if Hunter or guests are liable for any personal injuries or property
damage that was due to their negligence and he/she will be held responsible
for any and all cost incurred and will not hold BGS, guides, representatives or land owners
liable. Hunters will abide by cancellation policy. All hunters must
have the physical ability to access the pits and blinds and come up
to shoot. Guides will transport from parking area to field. Only short
walk. |
DOGS: Duck hunting, very early season more opportunity to work your dog. Later from middle of November, if you fill the blind and the guide approves, you may pay the fee and try your dog.
Your dog must be able to retrieve quickly, not disturb hunt sequence (not break/bark) and respond quickly to commands, so the incoming birds will not flare or become wary. No continuous whistles, yelling,or efforts to get the dog to obey/respond.) Must be acclimated to cold weather. Please bring a kennel incase fido is having a bad day. If asked, must promptly return dog to vehicle/kennel. Guides will bring their dog for a back-up.Dogs are not used for
goose hunting. |
| Camera: Bring your still camera to capture your memories back at
parking area. After the hunt all groups must quickly exit the hunting
fields, but there is plenty of time for pictures at the parking
location. Video cameras can interfere with the hunt, and will be supervised by guide. Can't hunt & video. |
| Warranties: BGS assumes no responsibility for the following and makes no representations
or warranties, expressed or implied; (1) The condition, safeness,
usability, and/or fitness of properties, equipment or vehicles used. (2) A guide's
performance and instructions concerning any issues or circumstances.
(3) The availability of geese, ducks etc. (4) The weather conditions
that affect the hunt or hunters. (5) The closing or shortening of
the hunting season. (6) The closing of property by state or federal
agencies. (6) Acts of nature. (7) Hunter Acknowledgment of high RISK and waiver of all rights for any damages must be signed before the hunt, which is part of their hunt or the outdoor excursion. |
Licenses: Purchase License
On line. Buy small game license $40.50,
Migratory bird permit & authorization $17 + $13.20 & Fed Duck Stamp. Must have issued license in hand- not online confirmation. If born
after Jan 1, 1972 MUST have a Hunter Safety certificate
to purchase. All Novice hunters, no matter their age, must take Hunter Safety course to hunt Burbank.
Out of State License: Out of State; 3 day $68 or $183.50 season, plus extra fees & Fed stamp. Allow over 2+ weeks for online purchase of license. Always check for updated information/fees.
Federal Stamp: A federal stamp is mandatory. One
stamp is valid in all states, for the season.
Burbank does not check or qualify the hunters & their licenses. Hunters are responsible for compliance to all regulations |
| Bird
Processing: Separates
fees payable at time of service. Greater $10, Lesser $7.50 and
Duck $5. |
| Please
inform the guide before the hunt. Includes feather removal,
flushing and bagging. No breasting. |
| Must have
transport/permission slip signed prior to any transport/services. |
| Shipping
available, but another permission slip must be signed in advance,
credit card or pre-payment in advance & express shipping
fees needed to insure that the birds are not' wasted' during
transport. |
| Please
bring your own ice chest(s) for transporting your birds. If
you do not provide ice chests, charge for ice chests will be
added to the shipping charges. Suggestion for flying, put your
duffle bag inside ice chest when arriving, and then you can
check them booth on the return. |
